Truck Turner

That opening sample had me hooked, I really like the lead parts in this, it sounds vaguely like a tune from a 16-bit console game. Downloaded.

Anth0n responds:

Sweet, thanks for the download. I should probably start using different synth generators, that way I can actually make something that doesn't sound like it's from a 16-bit console, although it's not necessarily a bad thing.

oops

You turned the Terminator theme into a waltz! It'd sound far better in an irregular time signature like the original. There's a lot that could be improved on this, the drums really stood out as being a bit on the naff side, the rhythm guitar got repetitive after a while. However, it is the Terminator theme and at least you had the right idea in mind, it just didn't come out very well.

Chrizzly responds:

Hahaha, waltz...man i didn't realize i made it waltz...im actually kinda ashamed right now...but it's a heavy waltz...mna i should aim for Waltz Metal...thanx for noticing me anyway! :)

Refreshing change

It took me a few listens for the guitar sound in the first section to grow on me. A more heavy sound would have been too overpowering at the original tempo. I really liked your singing on the first section.
I liked the fact you took the song and gave it a unique sound, I really enjoyed the second section o the song, the heavier sound of the guitars and the lower vocals sounded excellent.
If I were to level any criticisms at the song as a whole it would be that the first section sounds too different from the second section in terms of production, it sounds like two completely different artists. The drums in the first section could perhaps benefit from more complex patterns but overall I really enjoyed the song, great original work.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

It kinda was two separate productions. I used a REALLY old distortion pedal, to kind of emmulate 70's style distortion. I also used fruity loops for the drums in the first section, as I just got beatcraft at the time, but didn't want to reprogram all the drums. The fruity loops also kinda sounded old, so I kept them also for that reason. I listened to the original alot to program the first sections drums exactly, although there were still some mistakes. All in all man, I'm glad you liked it. I always wanted to slow it down and really chunk it up.
Thanks for checkin it out, man!
I think I'm going to redo this one again, and try to smooth out the change and see if I can get a bass line too.\m/

Very nice

I liked the sound of this, has a very retro, mono-synth sound to it. Sounds very much like the sort of stuff on Darwinia.

Smoke-Tower responds:

Ahahah thanks mate!

if you like this one you'll sure like the normal Adventure Time

thanks for reviewing and voting!

Very good indeed

That was a really decent cover of one of my favorite songs by Nine Inch Nails. It's good that you used some different sounds and instruments from the original as it really paid off. This deserves a far higher score than what it has. It got my five.

TopherJ responds:

Thank you very much. I made this a long time ago when I first discovered FLStudio.

I make games in Pico-8.
